The 2019 Vintage Festival as organised by a dedicated committee and co-ordinated by Oundle Business Association was not only a great success on the day, but now the event is confirmed to have raised just over £10,000 for the Town Clock & Bells Repair Fund.
As a result, this has enabled the Town Clock located on St Peter’s Church to be repaired so that it now keeps time and strikes the Westminster Chimes high over Oundle once more. As well as internal repairs and modernisation to the ancient clock, over the summer the face was refurbished too.
